Calling all you gardeners out there! I know how you love playing in the dirt, growing your favorite reliable vegetables and flowers, planting everything in rows and watering when things begin looking parched. So why bother with incorporating an entirely new approach?  

Using these methods encourage your garden to flourish without insecticides under adverse conditions while those around you struggle. Maybe you've heard about Findhorn in Scotland, a garden grown in the sandy soil and chilly brutal winds of the Findhorn Bay Caravan Park that miraculously blossomed to feed 200 people. How was it done? By working with nature spirits. Consider that all material forms, mineral life, plant life, animal and human are ensouled by intelligences that we are all capable of sensing but rarely privileged to see until we develop our "inner sight". This workshop is based on the principles of Machaelle Small-Wright of Perelandra. In this class we'll explore partnering with nature intelligences to create a balanced environment for your garden space - from potted plants to farms, keeping in mind that any project can really be thought of as a garden. Here's what you'll learn:

Connecting to the Overlighting Deva of Your Garden

This is where it all begins, you making friends with the Spirits of Nature and connecting to the Overlighting Deva of your garden, becoming BFFs as you work co-creatively together. What the heck is a "deva"? You'll find out.

This is also the most important part to get comfortable with. You'll be spending a lot of time talking to the Deva before you turn your first soil and afterwards while working with your garden, learning to connect, inviting and not coercing, sensing and believing (allowing) the connection and trusting the guidance you receive. Later you'll be receiving upgrades and improvements to make in your garden as the season progresses.

Kinesiology, Asking Questions and Connecting With Your Higher Self

We'll be working with getting the feelings of positive strength and negative weakness in the circuit fingers as we consult with nature intelligences regarding the formation of our garden and learning the art of asking accurate yes/no questions.

a Nature Spirit Sanctuary

Nature Spirits don't mind sharing their space, however it's important to provide wild areas in your garden for them. We'll review the importance of this sacred space and how to incorporate it into your developing garden, what to provide and what to leave out.

Breaking Ground
and Setting Up to Receive Information

This is about the shape and size, the design and layout of the garden, as you work hand in hand with the devic realms. Where does the garden go?! You'll communicate with the Overlighting Deva of your garden and she will guide the way. From what goes into the garden, which seeds to buy and what goes into rows and where, to soil amendments and how frequently to water, the deva has the information you need to co-create a lush, bountiful and pest-free garden. We are all organic gardeners at heart. You'll never need to add chemicals of any kind. You don't really want to eat poison, do you? Grow without!

The Planting Chart ~ What Goes Where and Letting Go of Control

Have you used the straight line method of gardening? Most of us have. It's the way it's always been done. Right? This part of the class is about breaking out and dancing with the fairies while creating a garden more beautiful and abundant than you ever imagined! And you can do it all without straight rows.

Maintaining the Energy

Maintaining the flow of energy of your garden through the seasons is vital to its continuing development and providing abundant harvests, making your garden a delight even in the cold and non-productive seasons. Devas welcome the addition of flower essences into the garden. They love working with the additional energies to help co-create your Garden of Eden.

If you've known me for a while, you know how much I love Solstice and Equinox. They are the engines of Nature and working within the energies of these amazing celestial events celebrate and honor the cycles of Nature. Find out how to incorporate this energy into your garden.

Cycles

Maybe your parents or grandparents planted their gardens by the phases of the moon. No doubt you have seen the pull of lunar energy in the ocean tides. This energy also effects plant growth. You'll learn how to apply that same energy to the soil and we'll discuss planting by the moon cycles and astrological signs.

Harvesting

How do you express gratitude to Gaia for the abundance she provides? As we reap the bounty she's given, we become conscious of expressing thanksgiving and sending love from our hearts as we prepare for our bodies what our garden has so joyfully given. Harvest represents closure and rest at the end of the yearly cycle. It's ceremony.
